Sleepy time blend

Giving yourself the time and space to get good sleep is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Sleeping well is personalized and needs vary from person to person, but I believe sleeping rituals can help wind down the body and promote rest. Some subtle and not so subtle examples of this are not drinking coffee past a certain time, staying off electronics past a certain time, keeping electronics out of your bedroom, making your bed, taking a bath, or meditating. This tea blend is designed to be one of those rituals.

This tea blend incorporates herbs that are thought to be beneficial for sleeping. Hop blossoms are thought to be beneficial for sleep because of their effect on GABA receptors. Skullcap is thought to be beneficial with reducing anxiety. I knew I wanted to incorporate these herbs into this blend. Other herbs in this blend include spearmint, peppermint, lemon balm, chamomile, and lavender.
